Well our sweet puppy who always stays in bed with me when I nap or go back to bed for a bit after taking him out to pee, decided that today he would use his new talent and jump off the bed, and not get back on. I tried to keep him on by using a tennis ball, his favorite toy, to keep him with me. He took the tennis ball to floor to chew on. Well, me being the smart puppy mommy I am, got out of bed, thinking I was thinking ahead and picked everything up off the floor i thought he'd chew on, thinking he couldn't get to it, thinking he'd be too scared to climb or jump, thinking he'd fall asleep as he often does. I feel asleep to him quietly chewing on his tennis ball; so innocent. And woke up to him chewing on cardboard. Then I realized, not only had he eaten cardboard, but he had also eaten my cell phone charger, some puzzle holder thing of Lucas', puzzle pieces, and my favorite stuffed elephant (it was the only thing he didn't get ruined). Lucky for Levi, though our cell phone chargers were plugged in, our plugs are controlled by a switch, that thankfully was turned off, because, he pulled the charger out of the socket (had we ever mentioned that Levi loves to pull plugs out of their sockets?!) and chewed in into at least 7 pieces, some of which I'm sure are digesting in his stomach at this point! I was soo mad! I yelled at him "Look what you did Levi!" and he stopped chewing on the previously mentioned cardboard, and looked like he was going to cry. He looked around at what he had done, and lowered his head. So I picked up his mess, and you might be wondering what baking and building has to do with chewing?
Well, to cool off, I ate a piece of this

that I baked Thursday night while Lucas put together this

and this

together; which we are very very excited about! Now we no longer have to keep some of our clothes in the boxes we haven't gotten rid of yet, even though we've been married over 2 months!
Now I just have to remember our dog is still this dog

and buy a new cell phone charger.
And just for your entertainment here a few photos of Lucas (and Levi) working our putting together our new nightstand and dresser:

Yay for my husband building our new furniture. i love him so. Now I must do our massive amount of dishes before my wonderful husband gets home!

Ohhh, I like your new furniture! It's really nice! YAY!
And Levi is so big! How old is he now? Bindi started losing her teeth around 5 months, so he may be getting close!
Just over 3 months old! I hope so! He chews on everything he sees!
Hahaha, we've been there! Have you tried "Bitter Yuck"? We used it for Bindi and it usually worked, but it is NASTY, so you have to be careful that you don't get any on your hands then stick your hands in your mouth. Ha!
Amanda went to get that "bitter yuck" stuff and the guy at petco said "This stuff works just as well" but wasn't as expensive, and turned out to be that stuff you literally put on the dog, not on where you don't want it to chew. You put it on your dog so he/she wont eat up their skin.... Well we put it on everything he chews on, and he just licked it off!!! Cheapy stuff...you get what you pay for!
