This Friday Lucas and I will be married for two months! :) and we can't believe how God has blessed us! Each day we are learning something knew about each other, something more to love (except leaving the toilet seat up, I'll never love that). It's beautiful. We're also learning more about what God's will is for our lives and the way we live. Right now we are praying and researching about birth control methods. Months before we were married we joined a small group at Living Hope for a few months. The first meeting one of the other wives told about a friend who had been married five years before having children, not really unusual, BUT they did not use birth control; they simply asked God to give them children when He thought best. I thought a lot about that story, how they relied fully on the LORD, and put Him in control (not that He isn't in already in control, but I hope you know what I mean, if not we can talk later) of their lives. Then almost two months ago (maybe?) a friend of mine wrote about the harmful effects of the birth control pill (you can read her post here) and it also made me think. I've been praying a lot of this subject and I couldn't take it any more! So after a week of discussion Lucas and I have decided to I should stop using the pill. We are still praying about what exactly we should do and that God would give us a child when He believes the timing is perfect.
Good night
