In less than 20 hours Lucas and I will have been married 2 weeks! It's somewhat hard to believe all that hard work is over. I still come home feeling like there should be something I should be doing for the wedding. Maybe we should start on those thank you cards?

It's an odd feeling to be newly married, to wake up to him every morning, come home to him every night. Don't get me wrong tho, it's wonderful to have my husband around, to spend so much time with just him and me; I'm just not used to it yet. We're in wonderland, nothing could go wrong, we're best friends.

Today our marriage became a little more real to me. I am now officially Amanda Grace Hughes :D

Best thing about our new apartment, other than it's just him and I:

NO TV! It's awesome! We eat dinner and talk to each other, no cell phones and no TV!

We haven't missed it at all! Well, sometimes we want to sit and watch a movie and cuddle, but instead we spend time together; talking, listening to sermons, or reading, and occasionally we get on the computer. It's wonderful! I love not having a TV!

The best new addition to our new apartment:

His name is Levi. He's six weeks old today and he is a purebred Shetland Sheepdog, a.k.a. a Sheltie. He's super sweet, but he pees a lot! Yay for carpet cleaner right? We are both very excited to have him at home now and can't believe how fast he grows!
